Usage of coffee cup
Coffee consumed after meals is usually served in a pocket sized cup. The ears of this cup are small, making it impossible for fingers to penetrate. But even when using a larger cup, do not use your fingers to pass through the cup ears before holding the cup. The correct way to hold a coffee cup is to pinch the handle with your thumb and index finger before lifting the cup.
Method of adding sugar to coffee
When adding sugar to coffee, the sugar can be scooped out with a coffee spoon and directly added to the cup; Alternatively, you can first use a sugar clamp to hold the sugar cube near the side of the coffee plate, and then use a coffee spoon to add the sugar cube to the cup. If you directly put sugar cubes into the cup with a sugar clamp or by hand, it may sometimes splash coffee and dirty clothes or tablecloths.
Usage of coffee spoon
A coffee spoon is specifically used to stir coffee, and should be taken out when drinking coffee. Do not slowly sip coffee spoon by spoon with a coffee spoon, nor use a coffee spoon to crush sugar cubes in a cup.
Coffee is too hot to cool down
The freshly brewed coffee is too hot. You can gently stir it in a cup with a coffee spoon to cool it down, or wait for it to cool naturally before drinking. Trying to cool coffee with your mouth is a very impolite gesture.
Usage of cups and plates
The cups and plates used to hold coffee are all specially made. They should be placed on the front or right side of the drinker, with the cup ear pointing to the right. When drinking coffee, you can hold the cup ear with your right hand and gently hold the coffee plate with your left hand, slowly moving it towards your mouth and sipping. It is not advisable to fully grasp the cup, swallow it with a big mouth, or bow down to the coffee cup. When drinking coffee, do not make any noise. When adding coffee, do not lift the coffee cup from the coffee plate.
